On October 20, 2024, Rotary Project Walk successfully served 16 repeat recipients this semester. This is Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo's second batch this Rotary Year.
We, members of Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo, thank our sister club Rotary Club of Forbes Park (D3830) and Wishes of Aid and Limbs for Kids (WALK), Inc., for helping us mount another event to fit seven new replacement of prosthetic legs, while the remaining recipients received replacements for worn-out sockets, screws, and other components.
Today, our strategic partners, including Rotary Club of Dagupan (D3790) led by Pres. Joseph Raymund Sto. Domingo, Rotary Club of RC West Davao (D3860), Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) Aklan Chapter, Infant Jesus Academy Kalibo Student Coordinating Body (SCB), Rotaract Club of Metro Kalibo, Interact Club of Numancia Integrated School of Metro Kalibo, Friends of Rotary, as well as media partners, Kalibo Cable TV Community Channel and Love Radio Kalibo, were instrumental in making this life-changing project a reality.
