District 3830, under the leadership of Precious Irresistible District Governor Prescy Yulo, recently held a community service forum at the University of Makati. last June 29, 2024, from 12 nn to 5 pm,
Attended by over 150 participants, the forum was one of the biggest gatherings of Club Presidents, Service Project Chairs, Community Service Chairs, Rotaract and Rotary Community Corps Leaders; the collective discussions provided them ideas where they can plan and participate in initiatives that will make a positive impact in their adopted communities.
The forum, with interesting testimonials from esteemed resource persons, centered on Rotary's 7 Areas of Focus - from promoting peace, fighting diseases, saving mothers and children, providing clean water, supporting education, growing local economies and protecting the environment. It also underscored the pivotal role of the Rotary Community Corps as invaluable service partner of Rotary having daily interaction with and better understanding of the needs of our adopted communities..
